Cloud Server Plans

What a cloud server is for

A cloud server isolates CPU and RAM in hardware. A neighbor on shared hosting does not consume your cores. It is also not an OwnHost VPS. A VPS is software virtualization, and the Istanbul and Frankfurt VPS list starts at $2.49 a month. A cloud server starts at $3.99 a month. They are not the same order.

The CPU is Intel Xeon Platinum and GOLD. Every disk is NVMe SSD. The locations are Istanbul and Frankfurt. The country-location VPS x4 table is not on this page. That list is in a separate article.

Four plans

All four plans sit on the cloud server page. There is no separate plan URL. The order starts from the card on that page.

V-Cloud MINI is $3.99 a month. It has 1 core, 2 GB of RAM, and 40 GB NVMe. It includes root access, a static IP of your own, and IPv4 with IPv6 dual-stack. This is the card for a small application that needs administrator access.

V-Cloud STANDARD is $7.99 a month. It has 2 cores, 4 GB of RAM, and 60 GB NVMe. It is the highlighted plan. A small-business site and a company site look at this size. A project leaving shared hosting often takes this step. The comparison is in the shared hosting and cloud article.

V-Cloud PRO is $15.99 a month. It has 4 cores, 6 GB of RAM, and 80 GB NVMe. It is written for shops and sites whose traffic is growing. The core count is double STANDARD.

V-Cloud ENTERPRISE is $29.99 a month. It has 4 cores, 8 GB of RAM, and 120 GB NVMe. The core count matches PRO. The extra resources are RAM and disk. A news site, a CRM, or a larger application looks at this plan.

What is on the plan, and what you check at order

All four plans include root access, a free static IP, and IPv4 plus IPv6. That is not the IPv6 state of the country-location VPS plans. Those plans do not include IPv6. The cloud server does.

Read the cloud server page before you order to see whether a control-panel license, backups, and the SLA are included in the price. Do not add a line this article does not state. There is also no unlimited-traffic line.

Administrator access is the reason for this product. A site that is fine with a control panel may start on Linux hosting. If the job is WordPress and day-to-day management, WordPress hosting is a separate plan.

It is not the VPS table

An Istanbul cloud server and an Istanbul VPS can sit in the same city. The resource model is still different. On cloud, CPU and RAM are isolated in hardware. On VPS, virtualization is in software. The price is different too: cloud at $3.99, VPS MICRO at $2.49.

Frankfurt has the same split. Frankfurt VPS is the VPS list in the MyLoc facility. The Frankfurt option on a cloud server does not open that VPS x4 table. Falkenstein is a country VPS. Do not merge the three into one invoice. City choice is in the location article. VPS plans are in the plans article.

Which card to open

  • Root and 2 GB of RAM: V-Cloud MINI, $3.99 a month.
  • 2 cores and 4 GB of RAM: V-Cloud STANDARD, $7.99 a month.
  • 4 cores and 6 GB of RAM: V-Cloud PRO, $15.99 a month.
  • 4 cores and 8 GB of RAM: V-Cloud ENTERPRISE, $29.99 a month.

All four disks are NVMe. The CPU is Intel Xeon Platinum and GOLD. The order page is cloud server. If you want to line the price up against another provider, use the comparison page. That table does not replace the resource lines on these four cards.

Frequently asked questions

Short answers to the questions this article is most often asked.

1 Do a cloud server and a VPS cost the same?

No. A cloud server starts at $3.99 a month. Istanbul and Frankfurt VPS starts at $2.49 a month. On cloud, CPU and RAM are isolated in hardware.

2 Do the cloud plans include IPv6?

Yes. All four V-Cloud plans include IPv4 and IPv6 dual-stack. VPS x4 through VPS x32 on the country locations do not include IPv6.

3 Are backups included in the price?

Do not assume that from this article. Read the cloud server page before you order for the panel license, backups, and the SLA.
